What is school?

School is a place where kids ages 5 to 18 can go to get an education.
In school there is a teacher who helps the students learn new things.
In New Zealand kids under 5 can go to a daycare for starters. When they
reach 5 they start their school life. When they turn 11 they go to intermediate
for two

year right before they go to college.

What you learn

At school your learn lots of new things. There are lots of subjects like
maths, reading, writing and more. Subjects are topics you learn. You can
learn how to count, read, multiply and so many.

Physical Education

Physical education/PE/Gym class is a subject where you do stuff that involves
moving your body. In PE class you can play sports, run, and exercise.
Schools have PE because they care about your health.

Soft Skills

School will also help you have a positive attitude, and being kind.
Having a positive attitude will make it easier to avoid negative thinking,
It would bring helpful changes in your life, and make you happier, and
successful in school.

Conclusion

School is a good, and an important place. It will help you do a lot of things.
It will also make you smarter.

Information Report Tonga

Tonga is a great country in the pacific. It has 169 island’s!
The capital of Tonga is Nuku’Alofa. The population is around
108k. In Tonga the king is Tupou VI.

Things to do

In Tonga there are lots of fun things to do like swimming
you can even swim under caves. There are lots of beaches

, and islands. Most of the roads in Tonga are made out of
gravel. There are also lots of nature to be found, but there
are bugs, so remember to bring some bug spray.

Hottness

Tonga is a tropical island. Its is usually very hot in Tonga
all year around. You will find nobody in Jackets, Jumpers,
and Pants.  But in summer it rains, Typhoons, and storms.
You will most likely not see storms if you visit.

Food

Tonga’s food is very yum. You will find Tongan food
everywhere like shops. Tonga also has a Mcdonalds.
They also love pigs, and horses. My favourite food there is
Faikakai. Faikakai is a sweet dumpling covered in sweet
coconut caramel sauce.

Tonga is a great country.  There are lots of things there.

that it won’t make any sense in your sentences.

Polyfest

Yesterday on Wednesday we went to Polyfest.
Polyfest is New Zealand's largest schools cultural event,
with almost 10,000 performers every year. It is held across
Aotearoa, it is a chance for schools to showcase their cultural
performance talents in a competitive, but community focused
environment.

It was really fun. We had 4 different pods. I was in pod 3.
There were a lot of food, and drinks that were a really high
price but I still got some. There were also heaps of games too. Here a some photos from Polyfest.

How to prevent yourself from getting sick

WALT: Use present tense throughout our writing
Use self and peer assessment to edit our writing

Its nearly spring, and people always get sick, so here are some ways to prevent yourself from being sick. In spring there are many sports being played, and some events being held and other stuff.

If you are playing a sport or something you should always drink water to keep yourself well. If you don't have havent drank any fluid especially when playing sports you will be dehydrated, and get sick. It will also cause vomiting, which you don't want. So keep drinking (:

What’s another way you can prevent yourself from getting sick? Well Getting a good sleep will. For example When you play games on a school night all night your brain will be exhausted, and tired. You will not learn anything, and get a headache. I have done this before, and it didn't go well I slept at 1 o'clock playing games and in the morning I was so sleepy, and got in trouble from the teacher a lot haha. So don't do this.

You could also wash your hands before every meal you have so you, and your food will not be dirty after all the dirty stuff you have done, and touched. If you don't wash your hands, and you touch your food, than your food will be so dirty, and you will eat some of the dirt you have touched in the past.

If you can do this everyday you will be healthy, and safe. Your body will be good as new. I guarantee that. I always do this, You should too. Thank you for watching I hope you like it.
