It is great you got your writing published and you have reflected about how well you have tried to make your writing effective. Remember for this writing there should have been at least 3 paragraphs which were about 1 main idea each. You have put everything into 1 paragraph. So perhaps next time you write you should focus on having 1 main idea for each paragraph, with 2-3 sentences that connect. Also I notice you have quite a few sentences that don't start with a capital letter, so perhaps that could be another thing you focus on.
